Welcome to the team

Our Product and Tech team is incredibly passionate about what they do. Working collaboratively across the UK, Gibraltar, Malta and Poland, they create industry-leading products designed from the ground up to allow our customers to play safely.

The Product team plays a strategic role in driving the development, launch and continuous improvement of William Hill’s customer and colleague facing products. Our remit is broad, we are involved in the end-to-end product life cycle from early-stage ideation, leading cross functional teams to build and test concepts or prototypes that solve customer problems to utilising data and insight to iterate and improve existing products. We have fun, we celebrate our wins and embrace our failures, learning every step of the way.

Our Design team is integral to Product and focuses on understanding how to create the best customer experience across our Sports and Gaming portfolio. We never stop testing, evaluating and improving our products to stay ahead of the game. Made up of interdisciplinary UX specialists and designers, we collaborate in an Agile environment with writers, researchers, product owners and technologists.

    Cloud Solution Architect

Tech career pathway

  • Team Contributor

    You'll be working within your team to enable day-to-day delivery and task completion, building great relationships within your team and maintaining a solutions-oriented focus. You'll positively contribute to the quality of our product delivery, undertaking continuous improvement initiatives as required, and be successful in securing a Team Level or Level 2/3 OKRs over a sustained period.

  • Team Leader

    As a Product & Tech Team Leader, you'll be directly impacting the day-to-day operation, health and performance of a single team or functional area. You'll interact with a wide array of colleagues on a daily basis, from team members to CPTO Leaders, taking ownership for the performance and outcomes generated by your team and building strong relationships to foster an environment of success, using agile and Peakon metrics. You'll have success in L2 OKRs over a sustained period and work directly to improve NPS scores.

  • Cross Team Leader

    Working across a minimum of three teams, as a Cross Team Leader, you'll set the bar for success in each quarter while supporting the delivery of our wider strategic goals. Building strong working relationships across a number of teams and levels of seniority, you'll be taking responsibility for the success and health of multiple teams, facilitating the ability to scale across those teams. You'll have success in L2 OKRs over a sustained period and work to improve NPS scores, working with Peakon and agile metrics to identify and resolve key issues. Your teams will thrive through your efforts to create and sustain channels of open dialogue.

  • Senior Leader

    Our Senior Leaders set the long-term strategic direction for the area they lead, remaining aligned to the overall organisational strategy, managing budgets and influencing commercial decisions. As a Senior Leader, you'll also be responsible for managing outstanding relationships with your team members and key stakeholders to drive business delivery and maintain a positive and healthy working environment across multiple teams. You'll have success in L1 OKRs over a sustained period and work to improve NPS scores, using Peakon and agile metrics to identify and resolve key issues. You'll foster a non-hierarchical, supportive environment that encourages creative risk-taking and always strives towards continuous improvement.
